More than 8,000 of you responded through PA Family’s action alert and our Pennsylvania March for Life outreach, where together we raised concerns about parental rights, medical privacy, religious freedom, the effect on pro-life efforts, and expanded government intrusion in our schools.
Your voice was heard!
But this fight is not over.
The Department has already said it intends to rewrite and resubmit these regulations.
We will watch closely to ensure the fundamental rights of parents and families will stay protected.
The Majority Opinion 6-3
The Supreme Court on Friday allowed the Trump administration to move forward, for now, with a system that uses federal data to help states identify people on their voter rolls who may not be eligible to vote.
Trump administration may now enforce the expanded Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database.
What Does the Supreme Court Ruling Allow?
The ruling allows the federal government to use the expanded SAVE system and allows states to use it to help verify the citizenship status of people registered to vote.
The Supreme Court’s action is an interim measure while the broader legal case continues.
The court’s unsigned order didn’t resolve whether the administration’s use of the Social Security information ultimately complies with federal privacy and Social Security laws.

The Iran Powers Resolution – What is it?
This is a symbolic measure to end the U.S. war with Iran that recently failed in the Senate, as American consumers reel from sky-high prices at the pump wrought by this conflict.
As if this has never happened before. Remember the lines at the gas pumps in the early 70s
REMEMBER THIS, FOLKS – The measure voted on Thursday — a “concurrent resolution” — does not carry the force of law and is never signed by the president, making the vote mostly symbolic. Plus, the President could veto the Resolution unless they gain many more votes to override a veto, which is extremely unlikely.

He pretty much nails what this conflict is all about. There is more to this, but I am sure if you listen closely, you will start to understand; this is not about OIL. Although it definitely has an indirect influence on what is going on in the Middle East.
On Thursday, September 24, in a 49-50 vote, the Senate failed to block President Donald Trump from ordering further strikes on Iran less than six weeks before the midterm elections. Remember, this vote does not carry the force of law.
This was the 14th time the Senate had considered (maybe not voted on) a war powers resolution since the conflict began on Feb. 28, 2026
The House voted 4 times; the first time, the resolution failed. The House resolution was sponsored by Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.). The last one was Tuesday, September 15, 2026
The Vote was 50-49 to defeat this resolution.
I am going to say one thing: the Islamic administration wants us dead. Disagree, you certainly may, but facts are facts no matter how many times you try to disprove them.
THIS IS REALLY SAD
Four Senate Republicans sided with the Democrats —
Sens. Rand Paul (Kentucky),
Susan Collins (Maine),
Lisa Murkowski (Alaska),
Thom Tillis (North Carolina)
All four Republican Senators defied President Trump and joined Democrats in voting for the resolution, and it failed.
One Democrat, Sen. John Fetterman (Pennsylvania), voted against it.

Democrat Sen. Angela Alsobrooks (Maryland) did not vote.
As I noted, this “Iran Powers Resolution” does not carry the force of law and is never signed by the president, making the vote mostly symbolic.
Why then are they voting on this?
I’ll give you one guess….. Ok I’ll tell you why in two words.

Stacy Garrity for our next Governor of Pennsylvania
Stacy Garrity grew up in Bradford County, earned a finance degree at Bloomsburg University, and served as a second-term state treasurer.
Stacy is a retired U.S. Army Reserve colonel; she was deployed three times between 1991 and 2008 in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. Garrity received two Bronze Stars and the Legion of Merit award for her service.
She believes Pennsylvania must continue in the natural gas drilling field to stay number two in the country in exporting energy. She has a strong desire to help farmers in our state.
She worked at Global Tungsten & Powders — a Pennsylvania-based company that makes powders used in electronics and tools. She began her career there as a cost accountant and rose to vice president of government affairs. According to her campaign, she was one of the company’s first female VPs.
She was also president of the Refractory Metals Association, an industry group, from 2018 to 2021.
She pushed for a successful bill to keep the U.S. Department of Defense from buying certain tungsten products from China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia.
Garrity attends the Christian Life Church in Waverly, New York. She is an elected member of its prayer council.

Jason Richey for our next Lt. Governor
Jason grew up in Aliquippa, Beaver County, and attended Hopewell Area High School, where he played football and wrestled while taking numerous odd jobs to help his family, including grass cutting, busboy, roofer, and McDonalds’s cook.
Jason attended Allegheny College, where he graduated magna cum laude, which earned him Phi Beta Kappa honors. Additionally, Jason became a three-time NCAA Academic All-American wrestler and finished his collegiate wrestling career as only the third wrestler in Allegheny College history with 100 wins.
Richey has also dedicated his time to giving back to his community. Richey founded the Quaker Valley Wrestling Association for the good of children, the school district, and his community. He partnered with friends who had young children in the Quaker Valley School District to bring a competitive community wrestling program available to all kids, including girls, to fruition.
After graduating from the Ohio State College of Law, he returned home to Pittsburgh to practice law.
Richey has represented companies to uncover government corruption and procurement irregularities at state and local governments throughout the country.
Jason Richey and his wife, Melissa, reside in Sewickley, Allegheny County. They are the proud parents of three sons: Justin, Logan, and Marcus.

November 3rd is the General Election. This election is also referred to as the midterm election.
This is halfway into the President’s term.
Patriots, currently, we have a trifecta.
This means the conservatives have the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the presidency.
If we lose them, get out and vote for conservatives.
When will my mail ballot be counted in Pennsylvania?
This is because every mail ballot outer envelope has an individual barcode that is specific to you. Once this barcode is scanned, it will be recorded that your mail ballot was received.
However, your mail ballot will not be opened and counted until Election Day, per Pennsylvania law.
**Mail-In Ballot Request Deadline: General
When will I receive my mail ballot?
As soon as ballots are certified and available, but no later than 70 days before the general election.
While any proceeding is pending in a Federal or State court which would affect the contents of any ballot, the county board of elections may await a resolution of that proceeding but, in any event, shall commence to deliver or mail official absentee ballots not later than the second Tuesday before the primary or election.
The second Tuesday before November 3rd is October 20th, 2026.
August 26th would be 70 days before November 3rd, 2026.
But most likely they won’t be mailed till mid Spetemeber.
